Welcome to the Taney Youth Baseball Association
2013 marks the 20th season that Taney Youth Baseball Association offers "fun, instruction, good sportsmanship and teamwork" to Philadelphia youth. In 2012, TYBA offered baseball, softball and tee-ball to almost 1,000 boys and girls from 3 years old to 15 years old, and basketball to over 300 boys and girls from 6 to 12 years old.

Picture Day has been moved INDOORS to the gym of The Philadelphia School. Please enter on 25th between Lombard and Pine Streets, 15 minutes before your team's scheduled time, and look for your team. Due to limited space, ONLY coaches and players will be permitted upstairs in the gym. Thanks for your cooperation.
PICTURE DAY 2013
Picture Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Taney (Markward) Field. For the Picture Day schedule, please click here. All families should have received order forms in the past week; we will also have extra order forms on Saturday. We ask that all players be present for the team photograph, which is used on our beautiful "thank-you" plaques for team sponsors. You are under no obligation to purchase any pictures. In the event of inclement weather, Picture Day will be moved to the indoor gymnasium at The Philadelphia School. See you Saturday!

Tee-Ball Fundamentals & Coaching Skills Clinic
Please join us on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 7:00 pm at The Philadelphia School (25th & Lombard Streets) for our "Tee-Ball" Training Clinic! The Clinic is open to all Pee Wee and Tee-Ball managers and coaches -- but ALSO to all interested parents, including baseball families who might not have been able to attend the Baseball Fundamentals Clinic. BOB HYLAND PLAQUE DEDICATION - SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th
Taney Youth Baseball Association dedicated a memorial plaque in honor of Bob Hyland on Saturday, September 29th at Taney (Markward) Field. Friends and family shared memories of Bob and his tireless work on behalf of Taney youth. Please look for the plaque the next time you are at the field.
BOB HYLAND MEMORIAL FUND
Taney Youth Baseball Association has launched the Bob Hyland Memorial Fund in honor of Bob Hyland, who passed away on October 6, 2011. Bob was the heart and the soul of TYBA for many years, right up until his death, and he is missed by all of us. In his name, we have established the Fund to continue his legacy of service to Taney youth. We ask for your support in honoring Bob and helping to create a lasting legacy in his name.
